Cebu to get its taste of Rockwell lifestyle—in resort luxury

Rockwell Land Corp. has left the inner city in the south—into the historic Magellan Bay—when it propelled the Aruga Resort and Residences-Cebu in Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City.

The region is notable as the portion of land lined by the poshest hotels and resorts in Cebu region.

Punta Engaño, or essentially Engaño to local people, has an unobstructed panoramic perspective on the Hilutungan Channel and notable Magellan Bay.

Aruga Resort and Residences-Mactan have this dazzling perspective.

Aruga Pavilion set up later in the vicinity of the development has a showroom and a beachside structure for entertaining visitors; there’s even an infinity pool.

The five-hectare enclave is as yet being grown, however, visitors got a taste and feel of the Rockwell lifestyle in Cebu, complemented by Mactan’s scenic ambiance and the summer trip vibes of the 270 meter-wide beachfront.

The shoreline has fine white sand and the waters are crystal-clear.

After the blessing of the showroom, visitors appreciated an afternoon of cocktails and grilled seafood by the water.

The structure, with the showroom, gave visitors the ideal review of the highlights of the forthcoming resort-style property.

“We’re very excited,” said Rockwell Land president Nestor Padilla. “This is our first residential-resort development. The location is perfect, and you can call it our little piece of paradise.”

The average unit in Aruga Resort Residences-Mactan is priced at P311,000 per square meter—a bit of heaven evidently doesn’t come modest. Beachfront units are increasingly costly, with costs beginning at P357,000 per square meter. Units range from one-to four-bedroom units, with sizes ranging from 67 to 292 sq m.

Regardless of the rates, Rockwell Land said 54 percent of the first residential building of Aruga as of now has been sold.

The development has three towers; the first residential tower is presently preselling. It has 276 units available to be purchased.

Aruga’s residential and hotel towers will be turned over in 2023.

Aside from beachfront villas, residential spaces and hotel rooms, there will be a planned private gym, a chapel, pools, and an expansive function room.
