Global salvage plan for nature ‘overlooks genetic diversity’

A global plan to stop the loss of nature is "weak" in one key territory, state researchers. The new 10-year strategy to stop extinction must intend to secure the gene pools of all life on earth, as per preservation specialists. The action agenda should explicitly allude to the genetic diversity of all species not simply those viewed as a value to people, they say.
